My Story

UPDATE (25th January) - I am now doing the Fire AND Glass Walk..eek!

On Friday 17th February, I will be taking on Salisbury Hospice Charity's Fire & Glass Walk. 

This involves walking 15ft over hot coals at 550 degrees as well as hundreds of broken glass bottles! I think Anthony would find this incredibly entertaining, so all the more reason to do it! 

The Salisbury Hospice team have been providing hospice and palliative care free of charge for members of our community for 40 years, with up to 1000 families supported each year. Anthony was cared for by The Salisbury Hospice in the days leading up to his death on 25th December 2022. They were angels. They cared for him with such tenderness and made what was a deeply upsetting time just that little bit more manageable for his parents. 

Each year Salisbury Hospice Charity has to raise almost £1.5 million towards running costs so any money you can give towards this cause would be greatly appreciated, so we can give back in a small way in Anthony's memory.
